Heroes win many friends at Birstall
Lads from the Yorkshire Regiment visited Birstall Shopping Park last Saturday (October 23) to raise funds for Help for Heroes in aid of fallen and wounded colleagues and their families.
They brightened up the rainy day for thousands of shoppers with their cheerful and positive banter, making many friends who will long remember the encounter.
Organiser Mick Dyson (wearing yellow jacket in the photo) wants to thanks the many generous stores who provided food and refreshment, and prizes for the raffle.
